TOTO, HOMER SO FAR FROM HOME

"The Fool is a character known in many cultures. In Native American traditions, Heyoke is the sacred clown, and Coyote or Raven are tricksters. The Hawaiian mischief-maker is called Kolohe. Baubo is a lusty greek female clown who made Demet...er laugh in her grief. Baubo also appears in ancient Japanese myth. Traditionally the Fool combines the spontaneity and innocence of a child, the power and surprise of a wild animal, the crazy wisdom of a clown. In Tarot, the Fool is an androgynous figure, pictured as a playful child walking on her hands, a disgruntled jester with a dog pulling on the seat of her pants, or a romantic visionary wandering with her head in the clouds about to walk over the edge of a cliff.

Using her guidance, we engage the mystery of life wherever we meet it, to become all of who we are. She asks only that we follow the path of heart and be true to our Spirit selves. With Fool as our guide, we get to raise questions; we do not have to know the answers."
